Annually, the Giving Circle makes grants to community organizations that support women and their dependents.  The total amount of the grants to be given is determined annually based upon contributions received during the prior year.  The maximum amount to be granted is the total amount in the pass through fund, plus 5% of the earnings from the endowment fund.

The Grants committee, currently chaired by Shabri Moore, begins their granting process in January of each year, with the awarding of the grants being held at the Annual Tea held by the Circle in May of each year.

Funding is available to organizations with projects that focus specifically on promoting selfsufficiency for women. Organizations interested in applying may do so by completing a grant application and submitting the required supporting documentation. Grants will be considered in increments of up to $5000 with a maximum of four awards per organization per year (maximum $20,000); organizations may request grants between $100-$5,000.
